Davidson is Head of Macrofinance Research at Conjecture LLC.
Davidson is Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Utah Eccles School of Business. He obtained his Ph.D. in Finance from the USC Marshall School of Business in 2015. His dissertation research, Macroeconomic Factors in Oil Futures Markets, is forthcoming in the journal Management Science. In addition to his academic training and research, Professor Heath was Vice President for Commodity Derivatives at BMO Capital Markets, where he worked from 2002 until 2007. In addition to his Ph.D., Professor Heath holds an M.B.A. (Finance) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a M.Sc. (Math) from Queen’s University, and B.Sc. (Biology) from the University of British Columbia. Professor Heath is a referee for several journals, including Journal of Political Economy, Review of Financial Studies, Review of Asset Pricing Studies, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, Journal of Empirical Finance, American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Futures Markets, and Quarterly Journal of Finance.
